No Bake Dog Treats the Kids Can Help Make

Posted by

Dog treatsKids loved to help! It is one of their best qualities, often we turn them down because they can't help, or their "help" would get in the way. Sometimes it is important to let them help, and it helps your sanity to plan ahead for it with an activity you know they can help with, even if it makes things take a little longer and get a little messier.

No bake treats are perfect because you don't have to worry about any hot appliances that children could get burned on. You'll make your kids and your dog's happy when you let the kids help you make a batch of no bake dog treats! These treats are so easy your little one can help add the ingredients, mix them up, and roll them into servings. They'll enjoy it even more when you let them feed it to the dog themselves.

Here's what you'll need:

• 3/4 cup peanut butter

• 1 1/4 cup oats

• 1/4 tsp cinnamon

• 1/4 cup water

Directions:

1. Add the peanut butter, water and cinnamon to a suitably sized mixing bowl

2. Mix until well blended, mixture will be thick

3. Slowly add oats while continuing to stir

4. Mix well

5. Roll into balls (size doesn't matter)

6. Seal in airtight container and store in fridge

7. Feed to Fido!
