Packing the Perfect School Lunch the BOBBLE Way

Posted by

BOBBLE LunchWe get it, packing your kids lunch isn't exactly a science, but that doesn't mean a little bit of thought can't make it better. To make sure your kid gets the best lunch they can, and that they enjoy it, simply turn to BOBBLE.

Bottle on the bottom

Avoid squished sandwiches and crushed chips and other soft foods, by putting heavy items such as water bottles on the bottom of the lunch box.

One sweet treat

We know you want them to eat healthy, but that doesn't mean they don't deserve a little something sweet with their meal. Toss in a tasty yogurt, pudding or bite size candy to satisfy their sweet tooth.

Bring the flavor

Don't let lunch get boring, that PB&J (if their school allows it) or ham and cheese sandwich promise to get boring after a while. Try sending them with some of their favorites, a small thermos is a great way to send them with a warm meal, a favorite soup or pasta dish. Get creative and send them with healthy foods you know they'll enjoy.

Better choices

Replace some of those easy go to's with healthier options. Healthy doesn't have to mean sacrificing flavor skip the overly processed foods for homemade versions.

Let it be fun

Have fun with their lunch, if you're sending a sandwich, use a cookie cutter in a fun shape to jazz it up. If you are the sentimental type (like I am) this is where you can toss in a cute lunch note. These fun little efforts will help you look forward to making their lunch a little more, and they'll look forward to eating it.

Enough to go around

A well rounded lunch will always be the best lunch. Help them stay healthy and feel longer by including all the important   food groups in their meal. A little bit of protein, some fruits and veggies, making a colorful plate helps include more nutrients in their diet.
